An exhibition of paintings made individually and collectively.
The creation of collective paintings, by working on multi-individual paintings, the projects attempts to represent a cosmos which is wider and more complex than any individual can suggest alone. In this sense otherness, instead of a confinement, becomes complementary.
This project concerns the creation of collective paintings of which the basic concept is not to produce an aesthetic formula, but rather to develop statements of collective circumstances.
By manifesting ”otherness” as equally essential and valuable to “self”and by abandoning the individual sense of ownership, the project targets forms of communication, such as response.
dialogue, mingling, association and collaboration, in order to deal with issues of identity, permanent or temporary, space and multiplicity of interpreting messages, subject or moods, in different environments.
By working on multi-individual paintings, the projects attempts to represent a cosmos which is wider and more complex than any individual can suggest alone. In this sense otherness, instead of a confinement, becomes complementary and it functions as a resource for a feedback experience.
Heterogeneity and discontinuity are accepted as an opening to the possibilities in variations of meaning.
